Hoodie Manufacturer
Fashionme sources existing hoodies from 10 pieces through Stock Match and develops custom hoodies from 50 pieces through Made to Order. Custom work covers the pattern, fleece, hood, rib, pockets, wash, printing and embroidery.
Pattern development and size grading
Fashionme's Made to Order service includes pattern development and size grading. The confirmed size chart sets the chest, shoulder, body length, sleeve, hood and pocket measurements used for each production size before bulk cutting.

Fleece, GSM and rib
Fashionme currently works with hoodie fabrics in the 350–500gsm range, including brushed fleece and loopback. The specification also records fiber content and knit construction.
Brushed fleece has a raised inner surface; loopback keeps the knitted loops visible inside. Heavy fleece adds more weight at the shoulder and hood, so heavyweight samples should use the intended production fabric. Cuffs and waistbands can use separate rib, with recovery checked during QC.

Hood measurements and construction
The sample sets the hood height, depth, face opening, front overlap and neckline shape. These dimensions are transferred to the hood pattern before cutting.
The hood neckline is matched to the body neckline during pattern making. A double-layer hood uses separate outer and inner hood pieces, which are sewn together before the hood is attached to the body.
For drawcord hoods, the production spec records the eyelet position, cord length, cord thickness and end finish. The left and right eyelets are positioned symmetrically from the center front.

Front construction changes on a zip hoodie
A full-zip hoodie needs a center opening, zipper allowance and two aligned front panels.

| Detail | Pullover | Zip-up |
|---|---|---|
| Center front | Closed front panel | Full center opening |
| Front pocket | Continuous kangaroo pocket | Two pocket sections |
| Front artwork | Uninterrupted print area | Artwork must account for the zipper |
| Extra trim | None required at center front | Zipper tape, teeth and puller |
Oversized and cropped hoodie development
Oversized hoodies
Body width, shoulder drop and sleeve width are set separately. A wider shoulder already changes the finished sleeve position, so sleeve length is checked after the shoulder measurement is fixed. Hem rib can pull a wide body inward or allow it to fall straighter depending on the finished opening.
Cropped hoodies
Reducing body length leaves less room between the chest, pocket and waistband. Kangaroo-pocket height and front artwork usually need new positions. The sleeve and shoulder do not have to be reduced with the body.

Custom color, garment dye and washed finishes
Stock Match uses available colors. Made to Order can use developed colors, subject to the fabric mill or dye-house minimum.
Garment dye, faded wash, vintage wash and acid-style finishes are approved on the finished sample. Washing affects shade, surface and garment dimensions.

Printing and embroidery on hoodies
Fashionme currently offers screen printing, DTF, flat embroidery and 3D puff embroidery for hoodie orders.
Artwork needs finished dimensions and a fixed position. Zip fronts, kangaroo pockets, sleeve seams and hood seams limit the usable decoration area.
Large or dense embroidery can stiffen fleece, so the embroidery sample is tested on the selected production fabric. Puff embroidery needs enough spacing to keep raised details clean.

Stock Match or Made to Order
| Route | Starting MOQ | Lead time | Use it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock Match | 10 pieces | 7–10 days | Existing hoodie styles that already match the required fit and base construction. |
| Made to Order | 50 pieces | 15–20 days | New pattern, custom measurements, specified fleece, wash or construction. |
Labels and branded packaging
Fashionme handles woven labels, printed labels, hang tags and branded packaging. Made to Order can include label placement in the sewing specification; Stock Match depends on the construction of the selected finished garment.

Hoodie-specific checks before shipment
Fashionme checks hood structure and lining, ribbed cuff recovery, kangaroo-pocket alignment and drawcord quality. Zip-up hoodies also require zipper and front-panel alignment checks; print and embroidery are checked against the approved placement.
Made to Order includes 100% final inspection. Stock Match uses sample-pull inspection as standard, with full inspection available when required.

Hoodie manufacturer FAQ
What information do I need for a custom hoodie quote?
Send a reference photo, sketch, existing sample or tech pack. Include the target quantity and any fixed requirements such as fabric weight, wash, print, embroidery or zipper construction.
Can I use my own fabric or trims?
Yes. Fashionme supports CMT production when the client supplies materials. Supplied fabric, zippers, labels or other trims need to match the approved sample and production specification.
Can I reorder the same hoodie later?
Yes. The approved pattern and production specification can be used for the reorder. Fabric, trims and dye lots still need to be available when the next run is placed.
